Meet at Pau Hana Sailing

Start with the SFC meeting point, then use the landmarks and arrival choices that get guests from Waikīkī traffic to the right crew.

Where SFC meets you

Every SFC lesson meets at Pau Hana Sailing, 1651 Ala Moana Boulevard, inside the Ala Wai Boat Harbor. It’s the same harbor for every format — open group, private or closed group — so there’s one address to remember.

Several operators work along this stretch of Ala Moana, so match the full business name (Pau Hana Sailing) in your confirmation rather than heading for the first surfboards you see.

  • Address: Pau Hana Sailing, 1651 Ala Moana Blvd, Honolulu, inside Ala Wai Boat Harbor.
  • Landmarks: Diamond Head to the east; Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon and the Hilton sit just Ewa (west) of the harbor.
  • From Waikīkī hotels it’s a 5–10 minute drive or rideshare; some guests walk from the west end of Waikīkī.

Tip: Drop the exact name “Pau Hana Sailing” into your maps app, not just “Ala Wai Harbor” — the harbor is big.

Getting to the harbor

The harbor sits on Ala Moana Boulevard between Waikīkī and Ala Moana Center. Rideshare drops you right at the entrance; driving means budgeting for the harbor parking lot, which fills on busy mornings.
