Revisit the ride after your lesson
GoPro footage can give you another way to remember your attempts and see moments you missed while concentrating on the board. Ask SFC whether recording is available for the lesson you have chosen. Camera availability, visibility and ocean conditions affect what can be captured during your particular lesson session.
Know what your media request includes
Discuss the recording setup, expected files, price and delivery with the crew before the lesson. Standard surf equipment includes the board, leash and rash guard; it does not automatically include footage. If you want help reviewing technique from a recording, ask about that separately from a keepsake video.
Add the request to your surf plan
Choose an open, individual or private-group lesson that fits your party, then contact SFC with your preferred date and media request. Confirm the arrangement before relying on it for an occasion. Your instructor’s directions and the needs of the lesson remain the priority in the water.
