A few useful planning paths

Leave the exact surf spot to the day

Kaisers, Rock Piles and Ala Moana Bowls sit along the coast near SFC. Knowing the names helps you picture the area, but your lesson does not reserve a particular break. Your instructor considers the swell, wind, crowd and students before choosing where to teach.

Use the breaks guide to get your bearings, then follow the crew’s directions when you arrive.

Make the harbor meeting easy

Before leaving your hotel, open your booking confirmation and check the meeting instructions. SFC meets at Ala Wai Boat Harbor, 1651 Ala Moana Boulevard. Leave time for parking and the walk to check-in, especially if your group is arriving separately.
