Meeting point and getting there
Meet SFC at Ala Wai Boat Harbor
Use 1651 Ala Moana Boulevard, choose the simplest way to reach the harbor, and follow the latest booking confirmation for final check-in.

Use the full harbor destination
SFC lessons meet at Ala Wai Boat Harbor, 1651 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96815. The harbor sits between Waikīkī and Ala Moana Center, near Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon and the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
Enter the full address and business context before leaving. Several surf operators work along this shoreline, so do not follow the first surfboards you see or a generic “Waikīkī surf lesson” search result.
- Address: Ala Wai Boat Harbor, 1651 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96815.
- Landmark: Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon is just Waikīkī-side of the harbor.
- Final authority: use the newest SFC booking confirmation for exact arrival timing and day-specific check-in notes.

Getting there options
Choose the transportation option that gives your group the calmest arrival. A short distance from a Waikīkī hotel can still take longer than expected because of traffic, pickup lanes, parking and people arriving in separate cars.
If your group is split across vehicles, put one person in charge of the booking name, student count, SFC phone number and latest confirmation.
- Walk: practical from the west end of Waikīkī if everyone is comfortable walking with beach items.
- Rideshare or taxi: usually the simplest option because it avoids parking; confirm the drop-off is Ala Wai Boat Harbor, not a nearby hotel entrance.
- Drive and park: use the harbor area, read posted signs and budget extra time for a full lot.
- Biki: useful for light-pack travelers who are comfortable biking in town; check station availability before relying on it.
- TheBus: possible from some hotels, but check the current route and walk time before choosing it for a timed lesson.

Parking without rushing
Driving can work, but parking is the variable most likely to make a lesson feel rushed. Harbor-area stalls can fill on busy mornings, and rules can change by zone or event.
Build the parking search into your departure time. If circling starts to threaten check-in, switch quickly: use a rideshare drop-off, park farther away, or have one person drop the surfers while another parks.
- Do not leave valuables visible in the car.
- Read the posted signs where you park instead of relying on old screenshots.
- Give weekend mornings and holiday periods more buffer than a map estimate suggests.
When you arrive
Keep the latest confirmation open and look for the SFC crew near the confirmed meeting area. Give the booking name when you check in so the crew can match the right lesson, party size and gear.
If you cannot find SFC, stay near the confirmed harbor area and call or text +1 808-490-8674 with the booking name. Do not wander toward another operator or assume a different instructor can redirect your group.
